Membership Matters
At Beech Haven we recognize the responsibility for discipling all those entrusted to us by the Lord. Part of the process of discipleship is clarifying what it means to be a member of this particular body of believers. The information below is designed to introduce the concept of membership. Please contact John Walker (706.548.2246 or dc@beechhaven.org) for more information.

How to Become a Member
- Present yourself for membership during the invitation of any worship service or by registering for the BodyLife Journey Workshop (more below). At the close of each service, an opportunity is provided to join Beech Haven or to make public any other decision. At the pastor's invitation simply walk to the front. You will be greeted by the Pastor or one of the Associate Ministers who will assist you with your decision.
- Attend the BodyLife Journey new member orientation. This special three-hour orientation for all new members will give you essential information to help you become a fulfilled, functioning member of our church. This orientation will help you to understand the benefits and responsibilities of membership. Body-Life Journey will help you to discover your identity in Christ, grow in your relationship with Christ, develop meaningful relationships, invest your life in personal ministry through service in this church, and learn the importance of commitment to stewardship.
- Be presented to the church family. After you complete the above three steps, we will introduce you to the church family at the conclusion of a worship service. This provides the church family with the opportunity to meet you.
After you've completed these three steps, we will joyfully receive you as a member of Beech Haven Baptist Church and you will begin to fully enjoy the benefits and blessings of being part of our family of friends at Beech Haven Baptist Church.
