Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual song with gratitude in your hearts to God.
Beech Haven Church loves good music and eagerly participates in singing as a congregation. Throughout the Bible, music is an integral part of worshiping God and expressing mankind’s relationship with God. Using a variety of musical styles, the wide vocabulary of congregational songs provides a way
for the gathered church family to Exalt the Savior, Edify and Equip the Saint, and Evangelize the Sinner. Likewise the organized music groups, including vocal and instrumental groups, offer a wide variety of music styles in worship leadership.
Beech Haven Church is blessed with many talented people who gladly serve in music leadership through participation in music groups such as choirs, vocal ensembles, or instrumental groups. All groups strive for Excellence and Passion as they present music in a wide variety of musical styles in worship. All groups have open enrollment and new members may join at any time.
The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra are the primary Worship Leading Groups for Sunday Worship. This combined group also presents special seasonal programs, such as the Beech Haven Christmas Festival and Freedom Celebration.
The Graded Children’s Music Groups prepare children to be active participants in worship and teach Bible truths through musical experiences. Using age-appropriate music, the groups share their music several times through the years. When they sing, the focus is on worship leadership, not performance. These groups meet from mid-August through mid-May.
