Wisdom & Discernment
Ask God to give the search team clarity as they review applications, conduct interviews, and weigh each candidate. Pray they would hear His voice clearly and be unified in their decisions.
Congregational worship on Sunday mornings is at the core to who we are as a church. It’s how we respond to God’s goodness, how we declare His truth, and how we draw near to Him together. It's the first part of our strategy to cultivate the hope of Jesus in every generation. Further, it's often the first experience someone has with us on Sunday mornings. All of these truths are top of mind as we begin to prayerfully search for our next Director of Worship with care, faith, and prayer.
We will keep you updated as things move forward, and as always, if you have questions or thoughts to share, please let us know using the form below. We will also post updates as we have them on this page.
It is with deep gratitude and great joy that I share an important and encouraging update in the life of our church. After a prayerful and thorough search process, the Personnel Committee and I are pleased to announce that Mr. Noah Duncan has accepted our call to serve as Director of Worship at Beech Haven Baptist Church.
From the beginning of this process, our desire has been to find a worship leader whose heart, theology, and philosophy would reflect our mission and core values. In Noah, we have found not only a gifted musician but a true shepherd who longs to see God’s people transformed through worship that is biblically grounded, gospel-centered, and joyfully authentic.
Noah will lead worship with our team in April, and he will officially begin his role mid-June, right after his and PK's wedding and honeymoon!
